4 days ago it was my birthday. (12th of April)

IT WASN'T AWESOME AT ALL. I ended up watching a crappy movie at the theater because my mom insisted. What movie was that? Welp you can ask me that.

I didn't get any gifts on the spot, but my parents stated that they'll get me something.

Now I'm 16. That means I'll be able to learn how to drive... but not get a driver's permit.
...Meh.

Happy belated birthday! Hope the present will be nice :)

..what was the movie?

Jack and the Giant Slayer.

I thought 16 y/o girls had obligatory parties, made a big deal out if it... I think the whole going to a driving school thing is just a stupid waste of money. Your parents are good drivers, aren't they?

"Your parents are good drivers, aren't they?"
=D....
='D...
Dad's getting a driver's permit soon I think...
And I don't enjoy parties. At all.
I tend to isolate myself with my laptop most of the time like it was my best friend. ='D

The kids at school/neighborhood that bad?
Gotta be an urban dweller for yer Pop not to have a license, which is cool.
I learned on lawnmowers and heavy machinery... pretty early. Well, that and heavy labor too :(

Nah I just hate modern society.
Wow, sounds like a hard life.

Happy belated birthday, Spirititinitis.
Being a teen is hard. 2 more of years of putting with this bullshit, and sweet sweet freedom is yours.

='D...
Thank you?
...Yay?

Too late for us to be Luddites now...
Pffs, yeah, still is, and it gonna get worse. I have a few metric tons of iron and a few million bits to organize and transport.

Welp. Wonder when it'll cool down or something... >_>

Modern society is too reliant on computers. One little solar flare, and poof, all those electrons are bye-bye, which is more likely now, thanks to a smaller EM footprint on chips and discs.

Yeah, sry about the lack of context... my father died before Xmas, and was an appalling pack-rat of metal things. Now my bro and sis are here to oversee what I would like to have done a while ago....

Well.. modern society are discovering new things that gradually makes them stupid. Without them realizing that.
I find that sad.

Must be a mechanic (or something.)
But if not, that's weird.

Wow, you're up early today.. and I was up waaay too late last night, as my e-record here on NG will no doubt show. Yeah, my Pop was talented with machinery, but, like his Ma, he 'kept' things for trade for other people. Most of what he was given in the past 20 years was mostly shit, and stored as chaotically, as my bro and sis are acting just now. Very damaging to my calm... especially after my surgery and 3 months of quietly living and working alone.

Summer's almost here, any plans yet?

I wish I live in america...

Nope and nope...
Australia, mate ='D

Well, I guess I had no idea what part of creation you were from. A girl I went to highschool with, moved out to Brisbane... she got lucky and stayed dry, but they were trapped on island for a while.

How many days out the year do you attend school? It's between 180 and 220 days here, give or take a few snow days. It's like 300$ for 8 hours behind the wheel, of a two steering wheeled car (guess that work in both out countries, huh?) I tried one of them when I was 7 or so (my sis' BF at the time was an instructor).
